Education
1. A two-year diploma from a recognized university, college or technical institute in video technology and/or broadcast television.
OR
2. Several years of experience working in the field of forensic video analysis.

3. Successful completion of LEVA Forensic Video Analyst Certification Program.
Experience
1. If you possess the education requirement in 1 or 3:
a. Several years of experience performing video analysis techniques and having an understanding of their application in law enforcement.
b. Several years of experience performing video editing practices, techniques and conventions.
OR
2. If you possess the education requirement in 2.:
a. Several years of experience performing video editing practices, techniques and conventions.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
1. The candidate must be willing to travel on short notice.
2. The candidate must be willing to travel throughout LMD to trouble shoot issues, attend crime scenes and meet with investigators.
3. The candidate must be willing and able to work overtime and/or shift work.

Challenge
The incumbent of this position is responsible for:
1.providing a video analyst duties such as the analysis of video and audio evidence to support law enforcement and the courts;
2.providing technical support and training to clients regarding video and audio evidence;
3.providing the collection of video evidence from crime scenes; and
4.providing witness court testimony and at times qualifying as an expert in relation to all performed duties.
