Intent of the process
The results of this process will be used to fill a term vacancy and may be used in the future to fill permanent or temporary vacancies that may arise in various locations, with full or part-time hours for various tenures such as: Seasonal Indeterminate, Term, Acting Assignment or Assignment at level, depending on status of the selected candidate.

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training AND/OR experience.
EXPERIENCE
• Providing administrative support at a management level;
• Maintaining, creating and managing large files, records and correspondence;
• Experience in using software programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, PDF software, PowerPoint, and E-mail;
• Preparing documents, scheduling and making arrangements for meetings/appointments
KNOWLEDGE
• Administrative procedures and practices;
• The mandate and objectives of Parks Canada Agency and Waterton Lakes National Park
ABILITIES
• To provide a full range of administrative support at a management or executive level including computer software use;
• To work with minimal supervision;
• To plan, organize and prioritize various responsibilities and tasks under the pressure of deadlines;
• To analyse, evaluate, problem solve and assign requests for information and response;
• To communicate effectively in writing and orally
PERSONAL SUITABILITY

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Willingness to wear a Parks Canada uniform and prescribed protective equipment;
• Willingness to work and/or travel in varied terrain, weather conditions, isolated locations and by various means of transportation;
• Willingness to work irregular hours, overtime, weekends and/or statutory holidays and provincial holidays, when required.
